Spelen bij Beelen is at ZUIDYARD on the Maashaven in Rotterdam-Zuid. You can get here by car, bike, public transport and water taxi.
By car
Navigate to Doklaan 40, 3081 AD Rotterdam. You will recognise the entrance by the gate with the colourful figures above it.

Travel to Maashaven metro station. From there it is about a 15-minute walk to the entrance.

The bike park is directly to the left of the entrance, with room for cargo bikes too.
By water taxi
ZUIDYARD can also be reached by water taxi. Sail to the Zuidyard stop; from there it is at most about a 3-minute walk. Book with Watertaxi Rotterdam on +31 10 403 03 03, at info@watertaxirotterdam.nl or at their desk next to Hotel New York.
Parking
You can park on the ZUIDYARD grounds.
Parking costs € 4 per hour or € 22 for a day ticket. The first 15 minutes are free for dropping off and picking up.
Accessibility
Almost the whole park of Spelen bij Beelen is accessible with a wheelchair and with a pushchair. Please bear in mind that not every play activity is suitable for everyone.
The accessible toilet is by the roller skating rink. That is also where you will find the baby facilities. The disabled parking spaces are directly on the left in the car park, close to the main entrance.
Dogs are not allowed, but assistance dogs are of course welcome.
Not every part of ZUIDYARD is equally accessible: the Beelen Eye and Noah’s Ark are not accessible for wheelchairs. So for other attractions, always check the information of that activity.
Food and drink
Playing makes you hungry. On site you can buy healthy, affordable food and drinks for children and adults. You can fill up with water for free at several points.
As a rule, you do not bring your own food and drinks. Do you need your own food because of an allergy, a diet or another good reason? Then of course that is fine.
What if it rains?
You can play in poorer weather too. The big sandpit, the roller skating rink and Verkeersstad Harvey are covered. Frenky World, a new indoor play area above the big sandpit, is also expected to open in mid-October 2026. Check in advance which activities are open and which suit your child’s age and height.
With a group, school or after-school club
Groups, schools, after-school clubs and foundations are welcome at Spelen bij Beelen too. You simply order tickets for a group visit through our website. Groups of 7 or more receive one shared QR code.
